North East Enterprise Network

The business network where knowledge is shared, ideas are challenged, and success is built together.

We’re not here to swap business cards. We’re here to share knowledge, challenge ideas and help each other succeed.

The North East Enterprise Network (NEEN) is a collaborative network dedicated to supporting businesses and organisations across the North East of England. Membership is open to businesses and organisations that share the network’s ethos and values, with new members joining through the agreement of the existing membership. NEEN is inclusive regardless of business structure, welcoming charities, community interest companies (CICs), social enterprises, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders alike.

The network meets monthly, providing a trusted environment where members can seek advice, guidance and constructive challenge. Whether developing a new product or service, exploring income generation and monetisation opportunities, solving business problems through lateral thinking, or making valuable connections with potential clients, partners and contractors, NEEN acts as a genuine critical friend. Members are encouraged to challenge one another’s ideas in a supportive and respectful way, recognising that honest feedback often leads to stronger outcomes.

One of NEEN’s greatest strengths is the breadth of expertise within its membership, with individuals willingly sharing their specialist knowledge — from IT support and marketing to finance, networking, business development and strategic advice — freely wherever possible. This collaborative approach creates a culture of mutual support, continuous learning and shared success, where every member both contributes to and benefits from the collective experience of the network.
